Licence terms
DevNavo is a local development environment for Mac. These terms explain your rights under Free and Pro, the first 14 days of Pro and what happens when Pro expires.

These terms govern the use of DevNavo by consumers and businesses. A consumer is a person acting predominantly outside their trade, business or profession.
Paddle handles purchases as a reseller. The applicable Paddle entity, total price, billing details and purchase terms appear before you place an order. The Paddle Buyer Terms also apply. These licence terms do not replace that information or override mandatory legal rights.
2. Start free: 14 days of Pro, then Free
All Pro features are available for 14 days from the first launch. No customer account, payment details or credit card are required. DevNavo then automatically switches to Free. No paid subscription starts. You may keep using Free without a time limit while meeting the conditions below. You may upgrade to Pro at any time.
One trial is available per device. The app checks a derived device identifier with the licence service for this purpose. See the privacy notice for details.
Free includes core PHP, Node.js and Python development, framework detection, Git and branch information, project URLs, and basic commands, Docker/project management, logs and debugging. Free allows new projects to be created up to a total of five projects. Existing additional projects and multi-repository/multi-folder projects remain available and usable after switching to Free.
Pro includes unlimited projects, creation of new multi-repository/multi-folder projects, the advanced Inspector, request and query analysis, duplicate query detection, advanced debugging, automation and project commands, extended Docker/project tools, and project starters and templates. These advanced features and creation of new Pro resources require an active Pro licence after the first 14 days. Existing projects remain usable.
3. Licence and teams
You receive a non-exclusive right to use the software for personal and business purposes under Free while meeting its conditions, and under Pro during the paid term.
Free is available to individuals and organisations with up to three actual DevNavo users. After the initial 14-day evaluation, an organisation with four or more actual DevNavo users needs one Pro licence for each of those users. The count covers developers who actually use DevNavo, not the organisation's total employee count. Three users may use Free; four users need four Pro licences.
One Pro seat covers exactly one developer on up to three Macs personally used by that developer. Team licences cover the purchased number of people. Shared device management does not remove the personal assignment or the limit of three Macs per person. Unused device slots of other team members do not increase that personal limit.
Businesses may assign and reassign seats within their team, provided previous users stop using the relevant licence. The key may be shared with authorised team members for this purpose. Selling, renting or publicly distributing keys and bypassing licence checks are prohibited. Mandatory rights, including interoperability rights and any legally permitted transfer, remain unaffected.
You can release devices in the app. Devices without contact with the licence service for 90 days no longer count towards the active limit. This does not mean their data is immediately deleted.
Bundled open-source components remain subject to their own licences. The DevNavo licence does not restrict those rights.
4. Ordering, term and cancellation
The initial paid term is twelve months. Before you place a binding order, the checkout shows the seats, currency, taxes, total amount and renewal terms. You can review and correct details before completing payment. Opening the checkout does not itself charge you. An order confirmation is sent by email.
Pro costs 69 per developer and year in the applicable regional currency. Website and checkout use the same country-based price rules; this is not currency conversion. The local price, currency, taxes and total appear in Paddle's checkout before ordering. Billing uses the country confirmed there. Location detection on the purchase page may differ, for example when using a VPN. The total shown before you place the order is binding.
The Pro subscription renews automatically unless cancelled. Stop the next renewal using the management link in your Paddle order confirmation or through Paddle. For help, contact [email protected]. Paid Pro access normally ends with the paid period. You may continue using Free if you meet its conditions. Mandatory rights to end the contract earlier or receive a refund take priority.
Consumers in Germany: Where section 309 no. 9 of the German Civil Code applies, automatic continuation after the initial term cannot create a new fixed annual commitment. It continues indefinitely and can be cancelled with no more than one month's notice. Unused advance payments must be refunded proportionately when the contract ends earlier on that basis.
Consumers in Austria: Where a separate renewal reminder is required, you must receive timely notice of the forthcoming renewal and how to prevent it. Statutory consequences of a missing reminder remain unaffected.
5. Activation, offline use and expiry
A website purchase provides a licence key by email. For purchases started in the app, the same licence service can also connect the purchase using a one-time return link. Both routes use the same licence management system.
Activation and periodic checks need internet access. A valid licence can be used for up to 30 days without successful contact with the licence service, subject to its expiry date. Pending automatic renewals can receive up to 14 days of technical grace in the app. This does not create an additional payment obligation.
Projects, configurations and data remain after the first 14 days of Pro or a paid Pro licence expires. Existing environments can still be viewed, opened, started and repaired. This includes more than five existing projects and existing multi-repository/multi-folder projects. New projects and Pro resources are subject to the limits in section 2; eligibility for Free follows section 3. Security updates that we provide remain accessible regardless of Pro status. Statutory update obligations and remedies for defects are not restricted.
6. Refunds and withdrawal
Our voluntary promise: Within 14 calendar days of an initial purchase or a paid renewal, you may request a full refund of that payment without giving a reason. This also covers business customers and customers in Switzerland. It is separate from any statutory withdrawal right and does not end merely because you use the app.
Contact [email protected] within that period, preferably with your order number and purchase email address. We will arrange the refund with Paddle. Do not send full payment credentials. This promise by Heinrich Systems goes beyond Paddle's general rules; requests made through Paddle's portal will therefore not automatically be approved in every case.
Statutory withdrawal, refund and defect remedies apply in addition where required by the law governing your contract. For the purchase contract, use the withdrawal information, withdrawal function and model form provided in Paddle's checkout. Paddle's refund information explains its process. Our voluntary 14-day period does not limit statutory claims.
A statutory withdrawal right for digital content does not end merely because of these terms or a download. Applicable legal requirements must be met, including any required express consent, acknowledgement and contract confirmation.
A full reversal ends the corresponding paid Pro licence. Continued use of Free follows section 3. The service communicates the Pro status at the next check. Following a partial reversal, the remaining licence reflects the agreed scope of that reversal. A statutory price reduction for a defect does not, by itself, shorten the agreed period of use. Subscription cancellation and withdrawal are different actions.
7. System changes and support
Supported devices and macOS versions are listed on the download page. DevNavo manages local runtimes, processes, services and development certificates. Some actions require macOS permissions. Project dependencies, external services and your configuration may impose additional requirements.
Back up important projects and data before making changes. This recommendation does not limit statutory claims. Support: [email protected]. No fixed response time or uninterrupted availability of external services is agreed.
8. Defects and liability
Applicable law governs remedies for defects, required updates and liability. In particular, we do not exclude or limit claims for intent, gross negligence, death or personal injury, or mandatory product liability and consumer rights. Statutory claims against Paddle as the seller remain unaffected.
9. Privacy and applicable law
The privacy notice describes the website, licence service and app connections. It provides information about processing and is not blanket consent for other uses.
Swiss law governs your software-use relationship with Heinrich Systems. Consumers retain the mandatory protection of the law of their habitual residence where applicable. Statutory jurisdiction rules apply; we do not impose an exclusive Swiss forum on consumers. Paddle's terms govern the purchase contract, subject to the same reservation of mandatory rights.
Publishing a later version on this website does not itself change an existing contract. Required contractual changes will be notified separately and agreed under applicable law.
